Commissions
The DIBF Commissions play a vital role in supporting the organization's mission and operations. These include the Technical Commission, which oversees competition standards and regulations; the Legal Commission, responsible for governance and compliance matters; the Referee Commission, which manages officiating and training of referees; the Development Commission, focused on promoting the growth of deaf basketball globally; the Youth Commission, which encourages participation and development among young athletes; and the Women’s Commission, dedicated to advancing opportunities and representation for women in deaf basketball.

General Guidelines for the Commissions:
The Commissions may operate independently through internal correspondence and meetings. Each year, they are required to develop an annual activity plan to be submitted to the Central Board for approval. Additionally, all decisions made by the Commissions must receive approval from the Central Board prior to implementation. This ensures alignment with the organization's overall objectives and governance structure.
