DIBF 3X3 WORLD CUP
The first edition of the DIBF 3x3 World Cup was held in Ramat Gan, Israel, from 7 to 10 September 2022, featuring fourteen (14) men’s teams and eight (8) women’s teams. In the men’s division, Slovenia made history by winning the first-ever gold medal after defeating Ukraine 1 in a thrilling final by 21–19. Poland earned the bronze medal by defeating Argentina, 22–9. In the women’s division, Poland became the first champions after a close victory over Ukraine, 16–15, while Italy captured the bronze medal by beating the USA, 17–11.
The second edition took place in Washington D.C., USA, from 10 to 14 December 2024, with nineteen (19) men’s teams and eleven (11) women’s teams competing. In the men’s division, Ukraine 1 claimed the gold medal after achieving redemption from their previous silver finish, defeating Poland, 22–10. USA 1 secured the bronze medal by overcoming Ukraine 2, 21–14. In the women’s division, the USA captured the gold medal after a tough battle against Ukraine, 17–15, while Poland earned the bronze medal by defeating Lithuania 2, 8–5.
The third edition of the DIBF 3x3 World Cup will be hosted in Auckland, New Zealand, from 15 to 19 September 2026, marking another exciting chapter in the global growth of deaf 3x3 basketball competition.
