Deaf Sports New Zealand to host DIBF 3x3 World Cup 2026

The Deaf International Basketball Federation (DIBF) is thrilled to announce that the hosting rights for the 2026 DIBF 3×3 World Cup have been awarded to Deaf Sports New Zealand. The event will take place from 15–19 September 2026 in picturesque Auckland, New Zealand.

Mr. Ioannis Stoufis, DIBF President, and Mr. Chris Sinclair, President of Deaf Sports New Zealand, signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the 2026 DIBF 3×3 World Cup on 1 August 2025.

DIBF would like to recognize Deaf Sports New Zealand for their hard work in preparing to host this event and looks forward to working with them in the coming months to ensure a successful tournament.
