Ukraine Complete Historic Double at DIBF 3x3 World Cup 2026 in Zlatibor
ZLATIBOR, SERBIA — September 5, 2026 — Ukraine made history at the DIBF 3x3 World Cup 2026, capturing both the men’s and women’s titles in a thrilling five-day competition held from September 1–5 in Zlatibor, Serbia.
With 14 men’s teams and 11 women’s teams competing for the world championship, the tournament delivered high-level basketball, dramatic finishes and an unforgettable atmosphere in one of Serbia’s most beautiful mountain destinations.
The competition took place in the heart of Zlatibor, where packed crowds created an electric atmosphere throughout the tournament. Against the stunning backdrop of the resort town, players from around the world battled for every possession, making the 2026 edition a memorable celebration of 3x3 basketball and the international deaf basketball community.
Ukraine Dominate the Women’s Competition
Ukraine’s women’s team finished the tournament at the top of the podium, securing the gold medal after an impressive run through the competition.
Poland claimed the silver medal, while Greece completed the podium with the bronze medal.
The women’s individual awards also reflected the quality and competitiveness of the tournament. The three standout players were:

The Most Valuable Player award went to Olena Khoroshykh of Ukraine, who played a key role in her team’s championship success.
