The International Committee of Sports for the Deaf (ICSD) and the Deaf International Basketball Federation (DIBF) are delighted to welcome the world’s best deaf basketball athletes, officials, and supporters to the World Deaf Basketball Championships 2027, to be held in the stunning coastal city of Pescara, Italy, from 8–19 June 2027.

This premier international event will bring together elite men’s and women’s national teams from across the globe to compete for world championship honors while celebrating excellence, friendship, and the unifying spirit of deaf sport.

The DIBF extends its sincere gratitude to the Federazione Sport Sordi Italia (FSSI) and the WDBC 2027 Organising Committee for their outstanding commitment, dedication, and hard work in hosting this prestigious championship.
