GERMANY – On behalf of the Central Board of the Deaf International Basketball Federation (DIBF), we would like to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude for all that Jürgen Endress has done for the DIBF. As Secretary General, he has served for 8 1/2 years and we can’t thank him enough for putting the DIBF on the map. We appreciate him and his countless sacrifices that he has made for the DIBF.
Having Jürgen as our leader has been impactful on the DIBF and we are grateful for the opportunity to work with him under his leadership and guidance. With his knowledge and experience, the way he led us was commendable and he will be greatly missed by the Deaf Basketball Community from all over the world, including board members, commission members, referees, officials, staff and last but not least, basketball players.
We are beyond excited for his new endeavour as he assumes his new role in the position of International Sports Director at the International Committee of Sports for the Deaf (ICSD).
As President of the DIBF it has been an honour to work with him and have him on the board for many years and I wish him all the best and success in his new role at the ICSD. He will always be a part of the DIBF family and our door is always open!
Good luck, JUE.
Ioannis Stoufis, DIBF President
